I wanted to share with you what I do/don’t do to remain healthy.  This list has evolved over the years from my research and thus recovery from CFS/ME, Fibro, Chronic Pain, IBS, OCD, Body Hating, Hashimoto, Serious Thyroid Issues, 3 Heart Conditions. Anxiety and Depression.  I have also seen this working well for my many 1-2-1 and group coaching clients too.

No gluten, at all!

No soya

Very little processed sugars

Very little nervous system dysregulating things in my diet (no coffee, little chocolate, no other stimulants)

No toxic skin, hair or homecare products at all (including candles, air-fresheners, perfumes, shampoo, makeup etc)

Living simply (letting go of so much)

Living slower (always a work in progress)

Prioritizing my mental health and nervous system health

Eating and drinking tons of fermented, probiotic foods and drinks

Eating lots of good quality salt

Eating lots of good quality animal proteins with every meal

Stay away from wireless devices, (speakers, headphones, fit-bits, watches etc as much as possible) and limit my phone time

No electric blankets or microwaves at all

Ground as much skin with the earth as often as possible

Grow, and cook most of my own food

Walk my dogs

Get as much sun as possible WITHOUT suncream

Never use aluminium foil or aluminium cooking pans or tins

Stopped having tattoos (and then did a big heavy metal detox)

Never use plastic wrap or any plastics with food as much as possible

Never take any medications or needles for anything, always favouring natural alternatives

Always working on releasing trauma and tension from my body

Realising I can be happy anywhere doing anything no matter what crazy ass stuff is happening

Embracing my sensitivities

Always working on my s#@t

Prioritising early nights (as i like early mornings a lot)

Find joy in the little things and let go of the big things

Be outside as much as possible

Always looking for the root cause of something and not a sticking plaster for the symptoms

Never believe what anyone else thinks about my health, and use my body as it’s own compass instead

Remember everything (even the challenges) are happening for me and not against me

Body brush after every shower

Buy more chickens (or geese) :0)

If you have any questions about any of these feel free to send me an email back, Faith
