As the years pass by

As the body ages

As the leaves fall from the trees

And the seasons pass

A slowness creeps in

Not one of aging but one of growing

Not needing to prove, to change, to please

A lessening

The story not complete, but not needing to be anything else

The land calling me

The animals speaking

Seeing God in everything

No longer yearning for what is not and content with what is

The heart is full

The body is softer

Acceptance of what is

What felt heavy and hard was because it needed to be shed

Shook free

Lighter

No long lost and certainly not less

A fullness

A oneness

The ‘medicine’ needed always at ones feet

No searching, just trusting

Always guided

Here in this moment

Returning home

To our roots

Part of nature

Following ones nature

Nourished!

Who’s with me on this?  A return to our true nature, what really nourishes and nurtures us?
