Fermentation Reduces Oxalates

As you know if you have been hanging around here for a while, fermented foods and drinks are so good for sooo many things (I will link my benefits list in my stories).  But recently even though I have been a total fermenting freak for well over a decade now, I found out some new things fermenting helps with!

Firstly, I found out that fermented foods and drinks somehow reduces plastics in the body. Which is a big thing these days!

Secondly, fermenting your food reduces the level of oxalates (a MAJOR anti-nutrient) in them.  It does not remove them all together, so it’s best to reduce or remove high oxalate foods.  But, it does reduce the levels of them in the foods you ferment with them in.

So, not only does fermented foods and drinks give you a huge amount of beneficial healthy bacteria (probiotics) and increase your bodies ability to uptake the nutrients in foods, but it reduces plastics in your system (effecting hormones and so much more) and reduces the oxalate load (which is hindering your bodies ability to update minerals and much more) in your food.

So, if you really must eat those pesky oxalates, best to eat them in fermented foods it seems!

Good-old, fermented foods! ;0)
