Fire-Cider Ferment For Winter Support…

For colds, coughs and flu and all round immune, digestive, respitory and hormonal support throughout the winter.

A recipe created by superstar herbalist Rosemary Gladstar and adapted by me! ;0)

You can basically add almost anything but what we want to do it as any many immune boasting things as possible. This is what’s in this one. However last year i made a wonderful batch of this with beetroots added too as I had an adundance of them.  It made for a earthier and very yummy flavour.

Ingrediants:
3 or 4 inches of fresh ginger, minced
3 or 4 turmeric roots, minced
3 chillies, sliced thinly
4 or 5 garlic gloves, minced
7 or 8 radishes (i could not get horseraddish)
3 cinnamon sticks
1 medium sized onion, sliced
tbsp of dried rosemary
tbsp of dried thyme
1/2 lemon, cut into slices
1/2 orange, cut into slices
Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV), enough to cover all your ingredients
2 tbsp honey (added later on)

Directions:
1. Add all ingredients into a sterile jar and then cover with ACV.
2. Put the lid on and leave for 5 or 6 weeks, shaking occasionally.
3. Strain and put into another sterile jar, add honey and shake well.
4. Take a small shot every day as a daily support or take extra as and when you or those around you feel under the weather.
5. Store in fridge

Note: This has got a real kick to it!!
