Hi there,

Thank you for clicking on this link and in doing so considering sponsoring an animal or tree at Roots Ranch Portugal.

I’m working towards this little piece of paradise being as regenerative as possible.  Giving more back to the land that we take from it and hopefully building soil, plant, insect, bird, wild mammal, farm animal and human health too.

I really feel if we can all be as regenerative as possible on our own piece of earth (even if that’s just a garden or window boxes) then we’d save our species and this beautiful planet.

I’ve spent too many years thinking about my own needs from the land and now my focus is on how can we all work together to heal our soil and ecosystem so that we all thrive in unison.

Animals are how we put life back into these lands, how the soil become fertile again and the wild plants, insects, birds and animals move back in.  It’s also how we become more drought hardy, improve moisture content, reduce fire risk, improve the nutrient profile of the plants on the land and have more for the animals and humans to eat again.  It’s a full and beautiful cycle that works perfectly when we do our best to mimic what nature intended all along.

As such, if you like what we are doing in our little part of the world and would like to sponsor and animal or tree we’d be delighted to accept.

And, if you join our mailing list below, we’ll even keep you up to date with your sponsorship and our regenerative progress on this little piece of paradise in central rural Portugal.

Thanks again for being here and for your support,

Best wishes, Faith xx
