Healthy, Homemade Mouthwash Recipe…

As a general rule of thumb, most mouthwashes are incredibly toxic.  However, it’s super easy to make your own.  This recipe could not be simpler and it leaves your mouth feeling minty fresh and super clean.  Not only this but it’s antibacterial and anti-fungal too, so actually helps with the health of your mouth!

 

Ingredients

200 ml fresh water

2 tsp. of baking soda

5 drops of pure peppermint essential oil

5 drops of pure tea-tree essential oil

1 pinch of Himalayan or sea salt

 

Directions

  1. Place all the ingredients into a small glass jar or bottle
  2. Shake well and use
  3. This will keep for several weeks, just shake well before each use and try not to swallow any
